A bit about me

But now I get to do my favourite thing as much as I like and that involves messing about with a crazy amount of art tools. All the time.

My absolute favourite subject is nature in all it’s forms but I’ve tried lots of urban sketching too and gotten quite addicted.

I have too much fun to restrict myself to just one style. I might well start with watercolour but I can’t resist adding acrylic, gouache, watercolour pastels, oil pastels, coloured pencils, watercolour pencils. And so it goes on. I love the tools as much as the results they produce.

I should say I’m completely self-taught (never been on an in-person art course) but I’m not sure that’s completely true considering the vast number of YouTube videos and online courses I’ve learnt from.
